ZHMERYNS'KYI REGION

The modern emblem

It was confirmed in September, 24th, 2008 by the decision of region council session.

Or with saltire purple. Escutcheon azure; sixteen-rays sun or with a human face. On the top and bottom are roses gules, on the dexter and sinister are towers gules. The shield is framed by a decorative cartouche and crowned by region crown. Supporters: two lions or with tongues gules and roses gules in the legs. Under the shield is ribbon azure with an inscription or "Zhmeryns'kyi region".
