The oak symbol is connected with the name. Koruka is surname of the first settler. The image of the oak with root ("koruka") symbolizes the Cossack who has based settlement, "taken root" on this place. Gules trunk reminds of war tragedy and symbolizes a martyrdom and heroism of the settlers. The maces are symbol of a Cossack epoch, underline the unique fact belonging to three het'mans.
