The modern emblem
It was confirmed in September, 24th, 1993 by the decision of XXVII city council session of XXI convocation.
Azure; letter "K" or, three salt furnaces argent and crescent or to signify the victory of king Sobes'kyi over the Turks. The shield is enframed by or cartouche and crowned by argent urban crown with three prongs.
