The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by gules city crown. The author is A.Grechylo.
Defensive gate with a paling mean history of city occurrence as strengthened small town. The arms of princes Ruzhyns'kyi's underline their role in the history of settlement. Two heraldic roses are associative symbol in the settlement name ("ruzha" means "rose").
