It was confirmed in April, 10th, 2003 by the decision #89 of VII region council session of XXIV convocation. Per fess by wavy barrulet Azure. First Vert; opened book Argent with cross Purple. Second Or; over embatted masoned base Purple bow Argent with arrow edge up on which are two sabres Argent in saltire. The board is framed by a wreath from oak leaves and pine branches; the wreath is intertwined by tape Azure and comes in the end by ears Or.
The wavy barrulet means Irpin and Zdvyzh rivers. Vert and or mean wood and steppe. The book is the sign that in this region was born the outstanding spiritual figure of XVІІ-XVІІІ centuries Dmytro Rostovs'kyi. The defensive wall symbolises protective value of area in the past, bow and sabres - events of XVІ-XVІІ centuries war. The author is A.Marchuk. Image on site V.Napytkin.
