It was confirmed in March, 21st, 2008 by the decision #214 of XIX region council session. Fillet pall Argent. In the centre is Mercury's staff Argent in pale twined by two snakes Or. First Gules; flying eagle Argent. Second Vert; jug with cone Or. Third Azure; bowl Or from which beat streams of water Argent in shape of letter "M". The shield is enframed by cartouche Or, crowned by urban crown Argent with three prongs and framed by a wreath from oak leaves. On azure-whire-red tape is inscription "KIROVS'KYI REGION 1935" Or. The authors are V.Konovalov, O.Maskevych. The artist is O.Maskevych. Image on site O.Maskevych.
