Sacred Ioann Gots'kyi was born in Partenit and is patron of the settlement. Bear-mountain is dominant natural object, original card of a settlement and one of most known symbol of a Southern coast of Crimea. The head of the girl reflects the name of a settlement (in translation from Greek - "Maiden"), and also reminds of the ancient people, leaved there and worshipping to the goddess Maiden.
The red reflects courage, force and work, the azure symbolizes beauty and greatness, and in the combination with argent waves - dark blue sea and light-blue sky.
