It was confirmed by the decision of village council session.
Azure; monogramme from the letters "T" and "Ш" ("Sh") Or. The shield is enframed by cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or.
Village was named in honour of Taras Shavchenko. Monogramme made from two letters and mean his name and surname. It was used font of Hryhoriy Narbut from the poster "Literary-art exhibition of Shevchenko memory" (1920). The author is E.Chernets'kyi. Image on site V.Napytkin.
