MATUSHI
The first data about it refers to 1710-1720. Then Dmytro Matusevych, comrade of Rich Pospolita national cavalry, has received the sanction on the village foundation from prince Yavlonovs'kyi, Bila Tserkva colonel.
Inhabitors remembered about Matusevych as the village founder in the beginning of XX century. Obviously, the name of village occurs from a surname of the founder.
In symbolics uses the family Matusevych sign "Labendz" ("Swan"). In Ukraine this family was known by L.Matusevych, one of the Revolutionary Ukrainian Party founders (January 1900), and also member of the Helsinki group, former political prisoner, public figure and journalist M.Matusevych.
