It was confirmed in December, 25th, 2003 by the decision #15/5 of village council session. Per fess by azure wavy fess with argent bordures, in the top gules part on a vert hill is argent fortification, in bottom vert is argent aurochs. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by or village crown. The author is I.Hamezhuk.
The image of aurochs above a wavy strip specifies the name of village and its geographical arrangement "near the river Turya ("aurochs" river)". The hill with fortification personifies a picturesque surroundings "Horodec'".
