It was confirmed in May, 21st, 2004 by the decision of XVII city council session of XXIV convocation. Or; three gules water mills, two and one. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by argent urban crown with three prongs. The author is A.Grechylo.
It was created on the basis of the old arms of city (1781) in which mills specified development of a mill business - in that time in city were 26 watermills and 46 windmills.
