It was confirmed in March, 15th, 2001 by the decision N11 of XIV village council session of III convocation. Per pale on azure and vert. Or paty cross; under it are crossed or key (with bit to bottom) and a sword (with edge to upwards). The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by or village crown. The author is A.Grechylo.
The key and sword symbolize ancient church Peter and Paul which now does not exist, but has begun well-known history of a monastic complex. The cross personifies modern Krehiv and specifies it as an outstanding religious center. Vert means woods and riches of the nature.
