Azure; girl with or hairs in silver clothes which hold a gules jug in the left hand, and right lifts a branch of a walnut with five leaflets; at the upper right is a 8-beam argent star. The shield is framed by a wreath from vert beechen branches with or nutlets and or ears, twisted with a blue-yellow tape; under a board is an argent fortress above dark-blue tape with an or inscription "Hotyns'kyi area".
The girl is the region symbol. The branch of a nut is the symbol of power and fertility, together with a star symbolizes generation of people which achieve star tops (the first Ukrainian cosmonaut L.Kadenuk was born there). The fortress symbolizes connection of the heroic past with the present, and beechen branches and colors of a flag certify the Cherivets'ka oblast'.
