The modern emblem
It was confirmed in June, 2nd, 1995 by the decision of city council session.
Azure; on the chief are three wavy fesses Argent. In the centre of a board is lateral sphere Or with a triangle Gules on it. In a triangle are three pine branches Vert. The heated pellets mean basic production of ore mining and processing enterprise. The waves in the shield mean Dnipro river. The gules triangle is symbol of iron, raw material for which manufacturing in the city. Three vert pine branches mean man-made woods, which surround city.
