The modern emblem
It was confirmed in October, 28th, 2002 by the decision of region council session.
The shield is divided quaterly by fillet cross Argent. First Azure; bunch of grapes Or on branch Vert. Second Gules; three oak leaves Vert with two acorns Or. Third Gules; bear Sable, which holds in front pads escutcheon Or. Fourth Azure; two fishes Argent one over another. On ribbon Azure inscription Or in two lines on the Ukrainian and Hungarian - "Berehivs'kyi region. Beregszaszi jaras" and dates – 1945, 2002.
