It was confirmed in June, 15th, 2018 by the decision #10 of XXVI village council session of VII convocation. Azure; from wavy base Argent issues island Vert, on which tower Or with arches and watches Gules, accompanied on the sides by two oak branches Or in pale. Shield is entered into the decorative cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or. At the bottom of the cartouche is inscribed "OSTRIVTSHANY".
The island ("ostriv") symbolizes village name, the tower is a symbol of the Strazhyns'kyi's family, branches mean surrounding forest. The authors are V.Napytkin, C.Bohatov. Image on site V.Napytkin, C.Bohatov.
