It was confirmed in May, 16th, 2018 by the decision #11-38/2018 of XXXVIII city council session of VII convocation. Azure; from wavy base Argent issues mountain Or, on it stands a stork Argent with plumage Sable, paws and a beak Gules. From the base issue three stems of reeds - in the dexter and sinister Argent, above mountain Vert. Shield is entered into the decorative cartouche Or and crowned by village crown Or. At the bottom of the cartouche is the inscription "SHCHASNIVKA".
The coat of arms reflects the legend about foundation of the village by the inhabitants, who were saved from an enemy raid on a hill among dense reeds. The authors are V.Napytkin, C.Bohatov, L.Pysartshuk, N.Tratshuk, A.Nalyvaichuk. Image on site V.Napytkin, C.Bohatov.
