KRASNAN'KE
It was founded in the second half of XVIII century. According to local legend the village got its name by Haidamak insurrections against feudals. In the case of unsuccessful performances rebels prepared caches. One of such place was chosen on the rocky shore of the river; near it every summer flowered wild red poppies. Haydamaks called this place "red" - "krasne", and first settlement was called by it.
At the beginning of the XIX century village was replenished by immigrants from the surrounding villages, including Jewish families. Residents built the four burr mills.
