KARNAUHIVKA

The modern emblem

It was confirmed in March, 19th, 2012 by the decision #134-11/VI of village council session.

Per fess by Azure and Purple. Cossack in jacket Argent and trousers Azure cooks porridge in cauldron Sable, in chief formy cross Or.
The main figure is Cossack Karnaukh as village founder. He is depicted with the cauldron of porridge, which is traditionally brewed only in Karnauhivka. The lack of weapons represents the peace as a credo. The cross is the symbol of Christianity and loyalty to the four virtues: temperance, prudence, justice and fortitude. At the same time he reminds the church, which plays an important role in history. Azure symbolizes the Dnieper, on the banks of which is loсated village. Purple is a symbol of the Kodats'ka squadron flag.
