It was confirmed in April, 20th, 2011 by the decision of IV region council session of VI convocation. Shield Azure. Escutcheon Gules; heart Or crowned by knight's cross. The escutcheon is surrounded by ears and oak leaves, intertwined by yellow-blue ribbon.
Knight's cross means faith, hope, love, trials, the mention of the temple holiday of region center - "Exaltation of the Cross". The heart is symbol of sincerity, compassion and hospitality of the residents; ears mean life, oak leaves symbolize courage and generosity inhabitants of the region, a hint of the geographical location of the region (steppe).
