The modern emblem
It was confirmed in July, 28th, 2009 by the decision of region council session.
Per pale by Azure and Or. Admiralty anchor variables tinctures. On the first field stands stork Argent in nest Or, on the second is castle Azure. The shield is crowned by territorial crown Or and framed by ears Or, entwined by vine grapes. Under the shield is embroidered towel with inscription "Kominternivs'kyi region".
