The modern emblem
It was confirmed in September, 17th, 2009 by the decision of region council session.
Tierced in bend sinister. First Vert; three windmills Or in bend sinister. Second Azure; Chumak on a cart with three bags of salt, which draws par. Third vert; acacia branch Or with flowers Argent. The shield is surrounded by a wreath of ears and sunflowers Or. Under the shield on the blue and yellow ribbon is inscription "Ivanivs'kyi region". Under ribbon is towel with ornaments of three main ethnics of region: Ukrainian, Russian and Bulgarian.
